The Rational Male Book Study
The growing political division between women and men is insidious, because it strikes at the core of our most intimate relationships. Sexist and anti-male propaganda causes extremism on both sides. The “Red Pill” has been demonized, but do we truly understand it? Are men toxic fascists? Are women perennial victims? We are reading Rollo Tomassi’s Red Pill manifesto to critique and understand what the Red Pill is really about.

Identity and personality are malleable. One’s conditions and circumstances influence them. Attractive, romantically successful people will reflect this in their identity and personality. Likewise, unattractive and unsuccessful people must use other means to win people over. On Sunday, May 4th, at 2 p.m. PST, we will read from Rollo Tomassi’s book, “The Rational Male,” specifically the section on the male identity crisis. We will examine how women influence men’s identity and personality, and how men influence women’s behavior. We will begin with a reading and commentary, followed by open discussion. The discussion will be led by Richard Procida, a relationship pioneer, early pro-feminist activist, author of “Social Issues in Global Perspective: Pornography,” attorney, and survivor of sexual abuse who minored in the Study of Women and Men in Society at the University of Southern California. The Political Division Between Women and Men is Killing Democracy, Truth and Democracy Coalition Leader Says
Richard Procida, organizer of the Truth and Democracy Coalition and leader of the Nonpartisan Red Pill Men’s Group, points to young people’s growing support for the Republican Party as proof that DEI programs haven’t helped Democrats. The Spring 2025 Yale Youth Poll revealed that 18 to 21-year-olds favor the Republican Party in next year’s congressional election by 11.7 percent. Young men are leading the march away from the Democratic Party, favoring the Republicans by 19 points. Young women are turning to the Right more slowly, favoring the Republicans by 4 percent. Generation Z went through DEI programs. They’ve heard what Democrats have to say, yet they are still divided. Eighteen-to-21-year-olds remain unfazed by the insurrection of January 6th, 2021, unlike their slightly older cohorts who remember what happened. The main problem is the flavor of DEI programs. DEI materials are highly critical of Americans, especially white males. There is a plethora of anti-male propaganda disseminated by so-called feminists and Leftists. They call masculinity toxic when in reality, women find masculine men attractive. This demonizes men for being men. The saying, “Women don’t need men for money anymore,” means nothing. Women still want men’s money. Women still feel entitled to men’s money. Men are still expected to pay for dates and to be providers.
These are just a couple of examples of the anti-male disinformation that is harming our relationships, causing political division, and allowing the forces of authoritarianism to take over.Men have all the same responsibilities they’ve always had, including fighting wars to protect women and children, but with none of the authority historically tied to traditional male gender roles. There’s nothing equal about men dying for women and children. Unallowed to stand up to women publicly under threat of emasculation and cancellation, men are turning to authoritarian leaders to restore balance to intergender relationships and give men the respect and honor they deserve for the role they play in society. Women haven’t made any accommodations for equality. They don’t understand that their behavior is at issue. They only want committed relationships with men who earn more money than they do. They want men to take the lead in relationships, and they want strong stoic masculine men, but they also want men to step back and cater to women in the public sphere. Women’s political agenda is inconsistent with their sexual desires and relationship demands. The Democrats need to set aside the anti-male rhetoric and begin to take men’s concerns seriously. Women should stop sharing male strippers/prostitutes and alpha males and start loving the men in their lives. This is the best and most effective way to bring men back into the fold.
